The National Technology Development Program (NTDP) participated in the ninth edition of the Future Investment Initiative (FII9) in Riyadh, where it served as the Official Sponsor of the Ventures Program. Through this sponsorship, NTDP reaffirmed its commitment to empowering high-impact startups, facilitating access to capital, and supporting an innovation ecosystem that helped Saudi companies expand into global markets.

The Ventures Program served as a platform designed to accelerate startup growth by connecting entrepreneurs with investors, business leaders, and decision-makers worldwide. NTDP’s sponsorship strengthened the program through grants, flexible financing tools, and partnerships with accelerators and market partners, helping reduce early-stage risks and improving readiness for scale.

During the event, the NTDP CEO, Ibrahim Neyaz stated: “Our sponsorship of the Ventures program at FII9 reflects our commitment to empowering startups locally and globally, providing a supportive investment environment that fosters innovation and accelerates growth, aligned with the Kingdom’s priorities in building a knowledge-based and technology-driven economy.”

NTDP also showcased its Deep Tech programs at FII9 and highlighted leading Saudi ventures in AI, smart connectivity, and space technologies, demonstrating the continued growth of the Kingdom’s Deep Tech ecosystem and its potential for global expansion.

Richard Attias, Chairman of the Executive Committee and Acting CEO of the FII Institute, expressed appreciation for the collaboration, noting:

“Ventures is a key driver for pioneering ideas and future technologies. With NTDP joining, we complete the innovation cycle, spanning incubation and risk reduction to expansion and access to global markets. Together, we are building a holistic ecosystem that enables entrepreneurs to deliver impactful solutions to real-world challenges.”

NTDP concluded its participation by emphasizing its role in advancing Deep Tech, enabling Saudi companies, and establishing international partnerships that opened new opportunities for growth.
