Inspiring Saudi Women Entrepreneurs II: Lolwah Binsaedan, CEO of Juthor
We’re excited to share the second interview in our Inspiring Saudi Women Entrepreneurs series, created in partnership with the National Technology Development Program (NTDP).
This edition features Lolwah Binsaedan, CEO of Juthor, an AI-powered platform that helps retailers manage listings, orders, and inventory across multiple sales channels. Juthor is transforming how Saudi retailers approach omnichannel commerce, enabling them to grow efficiently and deliver a seamless customer experience.
In this interview, Lolwah shares her journey, the role of national initiatives in her success, and her vision for the future of tech entrepreneurship in Saudi Arabia.

1. Can you share your journey into entrepreneurship and what motivated you to start your business in Saudi Arabia?
My journey into entrepreneurship started from a personal problem I faced. I realized that automating this challenge could have a significant impact on society. At first, I didn’t even know I was building a tech startup until I joined one of the government initiatives that introduced me to the fundamentals of running a startup. That experience helped me understand the ecosystem better, and I eventually pivoted from my initial idea to my current venture.
My motivation has always been deeply tied to the vision and leadership of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman. His ambition for the Kingdom, and his emphasis on innovation and empowerment, especially for women, inspired me to take this path. I wanted to contribute to Saudi Vision 2030 and be part of the movement that’s increasing women’s contribution to the Kingdom’s GDP and shaping the future economy.

2. What role have national initiatives such as Vision 2030 and the NTDP (National Transformation Development Program) played in shaping opportunities for you?
We’re truly fortunate to be building startups during this transformative time in Saudi Arabia. The government’s support for entrepreneurs is remarkable. Vision 2030 and the NTDP have created an ecosystem that encourages founders to turn ideas into scalable businesses through grants, mentorship, and access to networks.
Personally, the grants I received were the reason my idea came to life. Later, when I made the bold decision to resign from my role at Accenture, I benefited from another NTDP initiative that covered 75% of my last registered salary, which gave me the courage to fully commit to my startup. The continuous support from these national programs has been instrumental throughout my journey from concept to growth.
3. How is your industry evolving in Saudi Arabia, and what unique opportunities do you see within it?
The retail industry in Saudi Arabia is undergoing a major transformation driven by technology and changing consumer behavior. We’re seeing a clear shift toward omnichannel retail, where brands are no longer limited to a single platform they’re selling across multiple online and offline touchpoints. This creates immense opportunities for retailers to expand their reach and deliver a seamless customer experience. Another major evolution is the rise of dark stores and quick commerce. Instead of opening traditional branches, many retailers are expanding across the Kingdom through dark store models, which enable faster delivery, lower operational costs, and greater efficiency. This shift reflects a broader movement toward smarter, tech-enabled retail infrastructure and its opening up exciting opportunities for innovation, logistics, and customer engagement.

4. Looking ahead, what are your aspirations for your company, and how do you see your work contributing to the Kingdom’s innovation landscape?
Looking ahead, my goal is to build a company that empowers retailers to thrive in the digital era — helping them manage and scale across multiple sales channels with ease. We aim to become a key enabler for Saudi’s retail digital transformation, driving efficiency and innovation within the ecosystem. Beyond growth, I aspire for our company to serve as a success story that inspires other Saudi founders — especially women — to pursue ambitious, tech-driven ventures. Our work contributes to the Kingdom’s innovation landscape by fostering digital adoption, creating new job opportunities, and supporting Vision 2030’s goals of economic diversification and technological advancement.
5. What advice or suggestions would you give to other women in Saudi Arabia and around the world who are aspiring to become entrepreneurs?
I truly believe that we, as women in Saudi Arabia, are living in one of the most empowering times in our nation’s history. We have all the tools, resources, and support systems we need to lead change and make an impact. My advice is to start even if you don’t have everything figured out. Every successful founder begins with uncertainty, but determination and purpose will guide you. Believe in your vision, surround yourself with people who inspire you, and never hesitate to ask for help or mentorship. The opportunities available today — especially under Vision 2030 are unprecedented. Be bold, take risks, and remember that every step you take contributes to shaping a more innovative and inclusive future.
